Edinburg is a fantastic city, which has not only exciting history but also a great variety of places, which is worth visiting. The city has a wonderful location. It is surrounded by volcanic hills, in southern Scotland. The architecture includes extraordinary buildings of the XVI century and monumental masterpieces of the Gregorian and Victorian styles. The city provides many ancient marvelous sightseeing such as Edinburgh Castle. There is also Royal Museum, which exhibited a collection of various art objects. Thirty-six galleries are placed in the Royal Museum. The most memorable place is Museum of Scotland. This is a new landmark in the historic Old Town of Edinburgh. Museum of Scotland presents for the visitors rich national picture - the whole history of Scotland: its land, people and their achievements, ranging from prehistoric times, which is represented in the geological room until the 20th century. Edinburg has many excellent entertainments and one of the famous is Zoo. The zoo is especially known for its large family of penguins. It contains the largest collection of penguins in the world. Suspension bridge over their pool and the glass walls of the basin provide an amazing opportunity to observe these unusual creatures. In the hour of eating penguins when they go out of their enclosures, the tourists can admire them and make a photo. The city offers an active nightlife with its clubs, bars and cafes. The centre of the city and other parts offers a great variety of elegant restaurants, which serve delicious exclusive cuisine. The city has many luxurious hotels with first class service and pleasant staff.
